A familiar spot near Dallas Divide, I photographed this same scene at sunrise with a bunch of other photographers the previous morning. I was on my way to another location when passing by I found that the scene just as stunning at sunset, and no photographers! I had no time to get the 4x5 ready before shadows crept in. I went back last year, but the fall colors were not as good at this location.

35mm image scanned at 6000 dpi (137 MByte digital file) produces stunning 20x30 inch prints.
