Maybe you could post part or all of this on your site.
  I'm not sure if I  remember you per say, I was pretty stoned in those
days, but maybe you remember me. Electricians Mate Garth (Skip) Lydick.
Movie Locker PO.  I served from 1974 through most of 1977 . The most
fond remembrance was  the "74" cruise especially becoming a Shellback.
By the way If know how or where to get a model of the Chicago, please
let me know.  Also I am looking for anyone that has the "74" Cruise
book".  I have the "76" Cruise book, but many of my E-Division friends
left the ship during the "76" west pac and were not
included.  To anyone who does have the  "74" Cruise book I would be
happy to
re-imburse them for duplicating it, or at the very least maybe they
could
scan the pages and E-Mail them to me so that I can get them bound.
  I remember Captain Buck (73 & 74) very well as well as his relief
Captain Beck.
Lt. Cmd'r McConnel was XO.  All knew me on a first name basis as well, 5


Captain's Masts in 4 years.  Oh for the good old days, eh?
