Anyway, while aboard, the Personal Computer became a reality (I used to have the first copies of "Killobaud" magazine! and a few of us bought and built an IMSAI with one of the first Cromemco Z-80 processor boards. Had a whopping 16k of memory in it, too! I finally ended up with the system, but one of the FTs from the aft Talos unit helped me read a punched tape program (gawd!) so's I could toggle it in from the panel switches! And now I run a Sun system - how times change. A friend of mine (ET-1 Joseph Dipietro) has been to the chicago re-unions. there have been only a few CG-11 and a max of two SS-9 (?) attendees. The earlier Chicagoans (CA-135 and even a few from the previous incarnation!) are REALLY looking for new blood - perhaps you can help spread the word? I am looking for some old shipmates - any ideas? All the internet search engines are to fague - a more focused search would be great.
