I served on her from Dec 70 thru Dec 73. I have many pictures of her and worked in the executive dept. Many memories still go thru my mind. She was the most decorated ship in the Vietnam War. After shooting down I believe 15 or 16 migs, going back to subic bay for a rest, we (the crew) have painted migs on the ship below the bridge just like the fighter planes do. As we was pulling into port we got a message from sure to take that off before we dock. The orders was from the Admiral that was in Subic Bay. I still have messages from many of the admirals and others that said great things about what we did in Vietnam. One I remember was something to the fact that we was just like the legend "Man of War". The best. I also live in Arizona and you could contact me to get together and talk about those days or anyone else that wants to talk about those days. Still looking for shipmates that served on board during 70-73. Fred Rebhun
