The Listening Room
From November 2006 to February 2007, I ran a once-a-month show called "The Listening Room" at Cafe Cero in Denver. I booked the acts, publicized it, and Cafe Cero provided an intimate environment of tables and chairs to listen to the music. Although the shows were very successful and popular, I stopped organizing them in order to focus on my own songwriting and performing. I made that decision with regrets, but, having to work a day job, there just wasn't enough time for me to do both. Call me selfish, but I decided to put my own music first. Perhaps there's a millionaire out there who loves live, intimate, original music and would fund me so I can quit my day job?
