Welcome to my social studies class web page!  Here you will find information and resources for my 7th and 8th grade history classes.  This year in the 7th grade we will be studying ancient history from the birth of civilization in the Near East through the fall of Rome.  We will be doing intensive surveys of the Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman cultures, including their respective governments, religions, customs and contributions.  In the 8th grade we will continue from the fall of Rome through the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Reformation to witness the birth of modern Europe.
