WELCOME...

As a father and son partnership, Don and Steve Anderton have worked very hard acquiring a competitive colony of champion racing pigeons. We race against top-notch competition, on a very difficult Rocky Mountain race course. 

After battling illness and schedule conflicts for the past several years, we had all but decided to get out of the sport. Thankfully, things are now going much better and we've decided to stay active in pigeon racing, albeit on a scaled-down basis.

We are currently rebuilding our gene pool to get back to the birds that helped Sunflower Loft achieve 5^th Grand Champion Overall Ace Loft for North America. We've purchased back a few of our key breeders and are working to identify the best of the descendants of our original families.

We recently began the young bird series and our birds picked up where they left off, finishing 1st-5th in our section against 12 other lofts!
