The four birds pictured
below have figured very prominently in our past success. You will
still find their blood in many of our best bird's pedigrees. Only
Nine-Fifty-Two is still alive. He occupies his own large section in
our loft where he is enjoying his retirement. We keep a nice young hen
with him year-round just in case he gets frisky and surprises us with
a fertile egg. We are
breeding from children, grandchildren, and even
great-grandchildren of these aces!
All four birds came from our good friend Jeff Curtis. Jeff has been an extremely successful flier in the Great Salt Lake Combine. We feel very fortunate to have been able to team up with him as we were starting to build our stock loft! |
