Moments In Time Exhibits is a family studio that specializes in the design and construction of scale miniature dioramas with specific focus for museums, historic sights and private parties.  We are accomplished researchers committed to historic accuracy and the inclusion of an appropriate population of dynamic scale figures as the cast of characters to help tell the story.

A recent project is a diorama of the storeship"Niantic" , circa 1850, for the   San Francisco Maritime Museum.  The scale of this exhibit is 1/48th.

The "Niantic " Diorama is 48" x 48", shown here in its entirety in the interim San Francisco Maritime Museum awaiting completion of the new museum exhibit space.


The following photographs are of a section of an exhibit created for the Southern Oregon Historical Society's Jacksonville Children's Museum.  This exhibit illustrates how the residents of the Rogue River Valley in Southern Oregon made a living in the early part of the 20th Century.  The scale is 1/87th, or HO model railroad scale.  The diorama is over 70' long and includes an interactive railroad, seven work-specific vignettes, over 750 trees of various sorts, and more than 175 period figures.
