Pastor Paul Olsen came to Glory of God Lutheran Church in August of 2006 Before arriving in Wheat Ridge, Pastor Paul served a new congregation under development, Tree of Life Lutheran Church, in Provo, Utah. He began his ministry at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan, Iowa; then as pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church in Aurora, Colorado; followed by six years as an interim pastor in various congregations of the Rocky Mountain Synod.

Pastor Paul graduated from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1981. He currently serves on the Synod Council of the Rocky Mountain Synod, and the synod Conflict Management team. He is a Colorado native, and enjoys swimming, hiking, skiing, home brewing, theater, and guitar playing, and his golden retriever, Burt.
