Vision for the Future

ATTENTION: Parents of 5th through 8th Grade Students
Our pre-confirmation class (for 5th and 6th grade) will meet on Sundays from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Confirmation Class (for 7th and 8th Grade) will meet on Sundays from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. All 5th through 8th grade Students will meet for Confirmation Youth night on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. starting Wednesday, September 16. Please come to our parents information meeting on Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m.

GLOBAL HEALTH MINISTRIES is in need of bandages for areas of the world where patients suffer from HIV/AIDS, injuries, burns, etc. If you are interested in knitting or crocheting bandages, click here for instructions on making the bandages and where to deliver the bandages.

NEED $$$ ?? Consider working at the dome or Excel Center and earn money to pay your children's tuition at CA or Central Lutheran. Funds can also be used to contribute to Birch Lake Camp, our Youth Program or other mission projects. If you are interested, contact Bob or Callie at 612-588-4001.

Youth project brings hope
In the months of April through August, our youth have brought offerings totaling $42.35 for Shaohannah’s Hope. This organization was started by Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman to raise awareness in the church about orphans around the world. They also raise money to help Christian families pay the cost of adopting. We pray our gift will help them continue this vital work.

¡GRACIAS! Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies for Ysleta Lutheran Mission. The children in El Paso, Texas and Anapra, Mexico will really appreciate these much-needed items. Special thanks to all the Vacation Bible School students and their families who brought 2/3 of our total donations. Please pray that the children who receive these gifts will also come to know Jesus as their Savior and friend.
