Office Hours: Monday,Tuesday,Thursday and Friday 9-5, Wednesday 9-12 Dr. Verkler is a Board Certified Family Physician, and a member of the American Board of Family Medicine ,the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society, and the Arapahoe County Medical Society, Dr. Verkler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and a Doctor of Medicine degree, both from The University of Iowa. He completed a 3 year family practice residency program with The University of Iowa, at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines Iowa, and has practiced in the Greenwood Medical Center since 1985. Though practicing strictly outpatient medicine, Dr. Verkler holds hospital credentials at Littleton Hospital, Sky Ridge Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center and Porter Hospital. He accepts new patients and holds credentials to care for patients under most major front range insurance plans including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, First Health, Great West/One Health, Humana, Pacificare, PHCS, Sloans Lake/Cofinity, UnitedHealthcare, and many smaller private and governmental programs.
