lazy about tech things, like other Aquarian Single Celtic White Male Feminist
Ecological Activists listed in Who's Who in the World, but I finally uploaded
a picture. If your name is Affleck,
you're probably a relative. My son's mom and I have joint mutual shared
custody of Ian Affleck-Asch, who has his own page. I do mostly database
work, live in Seattle (funky friendly Fremont
), love alternative
music and anything blues or blues-influenced. Some of my faves are:
Fiona Apple, Tori Amos,
and Sarah McLachlan. Used to be a SMOF and a SMOG, published in a number
of countries (SF articles, SF&F Role-playing games), did radio scripts
(SF and Children's stories) and the first alternative energy TV show in
British Columbia (where I lived from '71 to '89), and have two major themes
in my life: Applied Chaos Theory and Changing the World. Oh, I like Foreign
Films, such as those shown by Cinema Seattle at the Seattle
International Film Festival (SIFF). I'm a lifetime member of Cinema Seattle, and one of the series pass holders you see at Film Fests.
Also
started the movement to get most computer magazines and national magazines
to use recycled paper for those magazine insert cards that fall out or
are bound in. And to change your junk mail to recycled paper. How do you
do this? Easy: applied environmental economics! Send all the cards
and junk mail back to the sender on the postage-paid cards and envelopes
and write (I use a rubber stamp now) Use Recycled Paper for these cards
(and other similar messages) on the part which they expect to find your
name and address. And send back the non-recyclable plastic windows too.
I'm silly, serious, sensuous and into a lot of things. Like pirate
songs...
