Money is character class (profession) based. It is based on the following
values:
 | Copper Piece (CP) - equivalent to a penny. With a single copper
piece, characters could buy candles, a torch or chalk. |
 | Silver Piece (SP) - equivalent to a dime. 10 CP = 1 SP. Basic
currency for commoners as it is the equivalent of a day's labor. |
 | Gold Piece (GP) - equivalent to a dollar. 10 SP = 1 GP. The
standard unit of measure for goods. An good Artisan could earn a GP in
one day. |
 | Platinum Piece (PP) - equivalent to a ten-dollar bill. 10 GP = 1
PP. Not in common circulation but often found in treasure troves. |
