Betty Lee HOUSTON December 30, 1876 - May 18, 1955
Betty Lee (Houston) Douglass on left with her sister Alice (Houston) Denton Betty Lee married Walter Levi Douglass and moved to Greybull, Wyoming. Betty Lee Houston was the only one of the 11 children that I actually met. In the summer of 1952 my grandmother and mother took me to Greybull, Wyoming on Shell Creek to meet her and her family. We had a wonder visit with Aunt Betty and her children and grandchildren. In 1995 I revisited the area and met her granddaughter, the former Carolyn Douglass whom I remember as a young rodeo queen in 1952. We had a short visit and photographed the gravesite of Betty Lee and Walter Levi Douglass in Greybull, and their daughter Mary Faye who married Clyde A. Wages. After repeated requests Carolyn refuses to participate in this document.
