His children were Celia, John, Henry Green, Burwell and Nathaniel. Henry Green Mullins married Matilda Winston Hill, daughter of Samuel C. Hill of Henry County. His diary from days at Univ. of NC is basis of doctoral disertation. Scarborough, Mullins & Reily is the 2nd largest law firm in SC with 50+ lawyers; Mr Reily is presently U.S. Secretary of Education. Edward MULLINS of the firm is the great great grandson of William S. Mullins.
