Reubin MULLINS life history is scant.  It certainly needs more research.

Reubin was born about 1806.  Since his birth date has not been established, and his father, Bud, moved from South Carolina to Georgia about 1807-1808 we do not know his birth state either, but suspect it is South Carolina.

Reubin moved with his father to Jackson County, Georgia about 1807-8108, and then to Indian Lands (future Hall County) in Georgia about 1817.  They were enumerated there in 1820.

On October 04, 1829, Reubin married Rebecca POWERS in Hall County.  Whether he remained on the land his father had occupied (probably not owned) is uncertain.  This land was in Flowery Branch.  This land was very near the old Federal Highway ran through the Cherokee Nation, crossed the Chattahoochee River at Vann's Ferry and continued on through Flowery Branch to its end at Augusta.  This land is now under Lake Lanier.

In 1832, Reubin, a resident of of Griffin's District, Hall County , drew lot #310, Dist. 16, Sect. 2 (Cobb County).  This particular lottery was the famous "Gold Lottery" which gave away the Indian Lands in the northwest corner of Georgia.  Bud, his father, and all of Bud's children except Reubin had moved to Campbell County by 1830 and possibly as a result of this land draw, moves to Cobb County.

Bud along with his sons Osborne, Samuel, Burgess are all enumerated in Cobb County in the special state Census of 1834.  Reubin is not.  Reubin finally shows up in the 1840 Federal Census, page 257, in the 846th District: 30-40 years old, wife 30-40 also, one son 5-10, 2 sons under 5, one daughter 5-10, one daughter under 5.  He is enumerated one page away from Bud and Ausborn (Osborne).

Reubin probably died between 1840-1850.  His wife Rebecca moved back to Hall County by 1850, perhaps with her family.  She is listed as a widow living next to Lewis M. Powers in the 1850 Hall County Census.  Unfortunately the census taker only listed initials, so we do not have full names.
