Keesha is located in Moorhead, MN. She is still with her family while awaiting the perfect new home. She is available for re-homing due to illness in the family.

Keesha's owner loves her very much. Unfortunately, she's having to deal with the death of her mother, her father's illness, surgery, and need for care, as well as a full-time job. She's decided that Keesha needs more than she can give right now, and has asked Keeshond Rescue to help find her a new home that is able to give her the love and attention that a nice girl like Keesha deserves.

Keesha was spayed when she was young, and has been well socialized and cared for. She's good with kids, cats, and even rabbits! She likes other dogs once she gets to know them. She walks quite well on leash, though she needs occasional romps in a fenced area.
The groomer shaved poor Keesha, even after being offered extra payment to groom her properly.
I met Keesha and found her an absolute delight, all wiggles and grins and bounce. I was told that her only possible "issue" is a bit of possessiveness about her chew bones. Her teeth, skin, and what there is of her coat appear to be in good shape. This girl is a gem!
Keesha's owner is looking for her papers.
