Meeting minutes: April 27th, 2004 (Secretary: Mikio O.)

Jessica and Bruce attended Waverly’s consistory meeting on Monday:
They are interested in our proposal, but want $650/month.
Pastor Zaworski will provide limited pastoral care as a part of the deal (no extra fee).
Some preference for afternoon, but morning is still an option.
They need a congregational vote on this. Date: 5/30
The Waverky addition plan has been voted and approved. Construction expected to be completed by next summer.
Service time (AM/PM) issue discussed. AM will be 9 am.
In terms of inviting different ministers for services, afternoon will be easier.
Delaying the (AM/PM) decision might hurt us.
$24,920 (28 pledges)
Accounting for “turnover” 25,000 is barely above 23,000 (estimated budget w/o DRE or office staff)
Reed ministry support (annual) due: $110 Approved. Fundraising: Garage sale will be discussed on 5/2.
Jessica will mail budget forum notice on 5/6; Annual meeting information will go out 5/14.
It is up to worship committee’s discretion. Mikio will also remind them that money is tight next year.
Room #8 is actually a small cubicle and good only for storage.
Summer arrangement not decided yet.
