Board Meeting - Wy’East Unitarian Universalist Congregation
Meeting minutes: December 9th, 2003 (Secretary: Mikio Ohgushi)
Present: Rich A., Jessica M., Debra T., Mikio O.
How to communicate to congregation:
Jessica will draft a letter by tomorrow to congregation for review by other board members.
Logistics:
Debra will check the logistics of Niya’s resignation such as payroll.
Farewell party:
2/1 after service.
Mikio will talk to Worship cmt. about this date as soon as Jessica’s letter gets out.
Debra will ask Janet T. to do something with kids to honor Niya.
Debra “let’s make this last service just for kids.”
Filling the hole:
We need a couple of people to do Niya’s job such as planning classes and making sure things happen.
We are open to possibility of getting professional assistance.
Brain storming about what info do we need from congregations to proceed.

Revised minutes (9/9, 9/23, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11) are unanimously approved.
Mikio will send files to Hanna for posting in our web site.
Jessica will put hardcopies in meeting minute notebook.
Motion to pay $80 for our share of color ads in gay/les yellow pages is unanimously approved.
Motion to spend $50 for new visitor materials (handouts) is unanimously approved.
Debra will write a formal note from the board to Worship cmt. to thank their fine job.
