Now at Waverly!
We lit a chalice, and checked in.
James transitioned out.Soon = August.
James will continue to try to get our UUA certification for Welcoming Congregation status.James and Anne have expressed an interest in long range planning work.
Barbara moderator? Nice!
Mark Alter continues as Vice.
Anders will take notes,
Treasurer is Jo's,
the 5th seat continues on ice.
We assigned those roles. We also set out committee liasons:
Barbara will continue on Worship committee until we have a 5th board member.
Mark will work with Membership.
Joanne will liase to Religious Education.
Anders will work with/on the Search Committee.
Committees socializing and eating together, just as the board, would be a good thing.Cecilia is setting up a mostly free training for committee chairs and the board.
Barbara and Cecilia have been recruiting committee chairs and people.Anne gave us a computerized tabulation of the skills survey, who expressed interest in doing what.
Budget
We collected $291 for the Eliot Center.July's charity is Sisters of the Road cafe.
We looked at a letter to send to people that have drifted away.We discussed who to send them to, and clarified that un-membering is for people who we haven't seen in 15 months, but that someone who's around but just hasn't pledged will get a conversation with Cecilia.
Future tasks
We need to constitute a Ministry Committee in August.
A behaviour covenant is a really good idea we should finish.
A ministerial search committee needs to be populated.
Also, filling the 5th seat, bylaws changes, empowering committee chairs, getting the outdoor sign repainted.
