Membership

Becoming a member of Wy'east means that you are ready to call this community your spiritual home. The benefit of membership is that you count yourself among these people, these Unitarian Universalists. You formally declare yourself to be someone who stands on the side of love in this broken and beautiful world.

Members of Wy'east are encouraged to deepen their spiritual life in four ways:

Sometimes people know immediately that they are ready to become a member of Wy'east. It just feels right, right away. Other times, people take a couple months to get to know the community. Other times, people choose to be a 'friend' of the congregation, without formally becoming a member.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Wy'east, contact Rev. Susan Maginn. She will ask to meet with you three times. Once to get acquainted, once to talk about Unitarian Universalist history and another time to talk about your talents and interests and how you might be involved at Wy'east.

Membership is open to all persons regardless of race, color, gender, affectional or sexual orientation, age, national or ethnic origin, or economic background.
